Guided by the gremlin tethers, Valerin collapses at the mercy of her captors. The creatures holding her choking lines jerk some slack into the nooses, allowing the woman to breathe, and she immediately chokes and gasps for breath. About her, the gremlin mob takes advantage of her stillness to re-tighten her bonds and fasten more lines, gathering close for another surge of activity on the body of their captive.

Thank you! Parts of this one came out a little rough--I used a different kind of paper on it, I think (I drew most of it two years ago), and it didn't "grab the lead" the way I am used to. But I'm glad you like how it came out!

Yep, me, too. The drawing in which she flipped the gremlins off of her back and made her bid for freedom got accidentally trashed when I was finishing it up 6 years ago--the dangers of working with destructive paper. But considering how many of these pages have been ruined, 1 out of 500 isn't too bad a record at this point, I guess.
Anyway, I've got some great reference photos for that escape-attempt sequence that I intend to capitalize on mercilessly.
