My latest headpiece. Made out of black turkey rounds and peacock feathers with golden distressed scales and lace. All the golden scales are hand cut.I need a nice name for this piece though. Any suggestions?I'm currently making a matchingΒ dress to go with it.

Wow! Hm. I guess when I look at this I'm more drawn to the peacock colours and scales, like fish scales, with this deep, dark backdrop, so it looks like this should be some kind of river-related crown, and that makes me think of Deltas like the Ganges River Delta in India (where, incidentally there are peacocks). So I would probably call this the Delta Crown or something like that. (Thinking about this, the Nile, the Mississippi, and the Amazon are all river deltas).
None of that changes the fact it is gorgeous! WOW!

Oh my goodness. Β That is probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! Β I have so many questions! Β Do you use a wire frame or something of the sort to attach the prettiness to? Β How did you stabilize the beetle wings at the top and sides or do they swing a bit? Β How do? Β Finally, how does it stay on the luck wearer's head? Β Is there a strap system of sorts?
Feel free to not answer any of these questions per the idea that these are your magical creations and you have every right to keep your craft secrets to yourself.
Either way, I shall gravel at your feet. Β It's grovel not gravel, Pumba...
