This was actually only my second water colour believe it or not (the first was that doll picture that I really dislike, way back in my gallery). I guess water colour is just my medium or something. *shrugs*Normally in my pictures I prefer to portray dragons as intelligent like humans or as giant monsters but going for this animalistic approach turned out surprisingly well. Then again, considering how long I've been drawing, re-imagining, and obsessed with the creatures, I think it'd kind of embarrassing if I couldn't pull something like this off.
Also, does anyone have any idea what the hell kind of insect that bug is? Because I don't and I'm curious about it.

Eyes are fun to draw but quite a bit harder to paint; originally the eye was going to be a light amber sort of colour but well... the black ran and I just kept trying to fix it until it had the nice doe-eyed look it does now, at which point I realized it looked better this way and gave up.
On a totally separate note, your icon is amazingly hypnotic with its little lick thing. I just keep ending up staring at every time I see it. (Damn adorable baby Discord! Stop playing your brainwashing skills on me!)
