Description
An entry for 's latest contest; The theme: 'Change of the Seasons'.'Summer' is on the upper-left, 'Winter' the upper-right, 'Spring' on the lower-left and 'Autumn' on the lower-right. I arranged it that way mostly cause it was easier to draw that way and because I'm lazy~ XD
As for why there is a Bellsprout in the winter scene or why there is Sentret in a tree... I felt like drawing it that way.
...Actually, It was kind of an accidental, but I ended up mostly using the scenery and flora from the Blue Mts area where I live, so the pic has a real 'Aussie' feel to it. Considering I don't normally go for realistic scenery, I'm actually quite happy with it~
That said, the flora in the 'Summer' section of the pic is either ground flora or non-existant so that part of the pic wasn't so real... And I didn't draw any sort of fern, which grow EVERYWHERE around here... ;>>
The actual tree that is the centerpiece of the pic is known as a 'ghost gum' ([link] ) so it's actually over-coloured, believe it or not.
As for the pokemon... Well, try to find them all! There are a few tricky-to-spot ones so invisible cookies to anyone who finds the Cyndaquil, the Suicune and the Butterfree~

I think it's probably that one work for me... That one work the artist tries over and over again to get something 'just like that one' in order to become better.

Well, I've always thought that seasons should be incorporated into pokemon but I didn't really realise they'd do it right after I did this pic.
Besides if you really want uncanny, I did this pic for 'season' themed contest. That's more freaky to me...

This is so detailed, the composition is excellent and the color scheme is mind-blowing. I fell in love with this picture, everything is so accurate and there is such interaction between the different parts of this scene that it's amazing simply to stare at it and take the time to look at all the details.

Honestly, this pic is my master piece. I don't think I'll ever be able to do anything nearly as good as this again, or if I do, it'll be about twenty years from now by which time I will hopefully be selling works.
Its a real pity it's fanart... *wishes I could sell prints of it*
It took the longest time I've ever spent on a artwork to get it like this; about a whole week, not counting all the days I spent just trying to think it all out... And about four drafts doing the outlines.
I think it was worth it though, just to get it like this~

Lessee... the Suicune is on the right in the Autumn section in the distance... the Butterfree are in the Spring panel over in front of the mountain... and the Cyndaquil is.... yeah, I can't find that one

I love this! When I first saw it I could only see like five PokΓ©mon.. and the more I looked, the more I saw <3 omg Burmy! xD that one made me giggle. Rattata and Persian are beautiful especially <3 the colours are beautiful, as well, as is the shading on the tree o:

the suicune is really small all the way to the right, the cyndaquil it looks to me is right in front of suicune on the ground and butterfree is really tiny in front of the mountains on the leftside
