I myself have not played the "Master System" version of the game, but if it makes it easier for you folks to fill in the meme then go ahead Just make sure you mention in your meme that it's for that particular version

So yeah ... here's mine I spend ages on this, and I even rushed towards the end 'cause I just wanted to get it done It wasn't really meant to be perfect. To be honest, I was having fun with it But I've been doing this for hours now, and I just wanted it put on DA

In case you're interested, I'm gonna explain the meme below

1. Green Hill Zone. I was going to put Star Light Zone, but I decided that the classic, easy, welcoming first level was the best to put

2. Labyrinth Zone *shudder*. This must be one of the scariest levels ever. It's not so bad, until you lose your rings, while desperate for an oxygen bubble, then just as you find one, a badnik kills you anyway! D'oh! After playing Sonic 1 recently, I was so tempted to put Marble Zone. That must be a close second ...

3. Scrap Brain Zone does have a pretty damn cool tune. I gotta admit, the whole of Sonic 1 has an amazing soundtrack, but I had to pick one, and this is it. If I give you a link to it [link] and then go to 0:36 seconds. From there to 1:11 is my favourite part of the song

4. Every kid who played this will never forget the unbelievably scary, heart thumping, sweat breaking, nightmarish tune that began as soon as Sonic felt his lungs burning. I am of course talking about the "Drowning Song" Because I like every other song, this is the only "bad" one I could think of. It's not on my iPod that's for sure ...

5. I love how invincible the little animals are. There you are fighting for their life, and like good ol' Rocky here, he just jumps happily in the lava and survives

6. Purposely put a troll face on this b*stard. Ah yes. The Caterkiller. I never even try to kill them. I have on many occasions aimed for the head either jumping or rolling and yet he can still hurt me! And look at the way he moves, his body and mouth moving to the beat of the song. Little b*stard ...

7. I find Labyrinth a bit annoying too, especially if you're so close to getting out of the water (when chasing Robotnik) and then either a spear or ball of fire kills you. But I can't express how much I suck at the bosses where you have to be in the air to kill them! I mean sure, I could kill him with the mines, but I always miss!

8. I couldn't be bothered to draw a level for this (I had a headache at this point). But yeah, I usually get squashed in Sonic 1, either by accident, or for being too cocky and thinking I can make it in time. Tut tut

9. Yeah, poor Sonic rolling through the tunnels, only to be killed at the bottom. Funny glitch, and good job it's at the beginning so you still have time to get loads of extra lives. I've also, on purpose, done the Labyrinth glitch (which was quite scary if you think about it. Haven't seen it? [link] All the water rises and that error code ... man, freaky!).

10. Unless I've been in Debug Mode, I haven't yet collected all six (yes, there were only six Chaos Emeralds in Sonic 1 ). I got on to Special Zone Four and it's the one where there's more than one route to go, and of course only one is right. I've watched someone on YouTube collect them all, so I might use them to help me. The Internet sure has come a long way huh?
