Hello everyone! It's been a while since you last heard of me, but of course I can't ignore the hype surrounding the new Sun and Moon Starters. Rowlet is my favourite so far, and I wanted to speculate about its design once evolved. I'm also working on a Popplio evolution so be sure to check back. I don't know if I'll upload more after that.. but I hope I'll have the time and inspiration to do so. But for now, here is my evolution of Rowlet.I really like Rowlet's design and didn't want to change it too much. So I added little new features and made it a bigger owl in general. I wanted it to keep its adorableness :3. For the final evolution I wanted something in between cute but also a bit menacing, also the design will change a bit more. Well, I hope you like it!

Damn. I like this way better than the real one (Dartrix), and I thought Dartrix was pretty good. This actually looks more official. I'll be honest, your Puerrowl design is really cool, but it doesn't look "official" to me, and it's too drastic of a change from what you have here. But Fowliage is perfect -- it's not overcomplicated, it extends the aspects of Rowlet's design beautifully, and you nailed the Sugimori-esque art style too. If I had seen this before Dartrix was revealed, I would have 100% assumed that this was the real thing.

Fowliage, the owl pokemon. Fowliage are smart, and intelligent creatures, but they are uncommon to find.Β Fowliage will usually hunt in deserts more often than forests, and create nests inΒ secluded rock crevices there.

Great design! One of the most realistic ones I have seen so far. (I hate the way most people make fun of it and develop on the bowtie and it ends up with a tie a waistcoat and a monacle). Also the name is really clever, and the art is amazing!! (btw what software do you use for drawing Sugimori style? I'm thinking about learning how to do Sugimori style)

Thank you! I use Photoshop CS6, although I think most people use Paint Tool SAI. Also I get the impression many people work with a drawing tablet, while I just scan sketches and finish them in Photoshop ^^
