Thanks! There's been a lot of inspirations for the anatomy of these guys, but you've hit the main ones right on the head. There's also some cat in there (placement of rib cage, flexibility of spine) and I took inspiration for their heads from theropod dinosaurs like velociraptor, which I favour. (Although it is different.) I really liked the notion of serrated teeth which are constantly being replaced for my draconic species and it seems a better model for a species like drakoon in particular which has the potential to live hundreds of years than permanent teeth. Their hide and tongues of course come from snakes, though the anatomy of how their tongues sit in their mouths isn't the same as a snake and neither is their hide, but it is super stretchy the same way and it is scaley, though the scales are pinhead sized. The adult as-dragon kind of have bulked up haunches like quarterhorses haha. (Need strong hind muscles for launching themselves thirty feet into the air for takeoff haha.)
Eeeee I love drawing Ki, his youth makes him very endearing to work with and show his development. As-dragon he has a bit of a 'kitten' complex (well, he is a kitten, since he can't yet fly, so he hasn't gained the title 'flightling') because he's still sorting out that body which leads to him sometimes doing things like biting inanimate objects for no reason and running around, occasionally causing some havoc. He's extremely fast. (Sadly though I am coming to the end of this stage of his life and he's turning into a more serious creature. Twas' a short lived second childhood for him haha.)
