Description
So, this started as a shiba inu, then I (for some reason) thought it looked more like an akita inu and now it's a shiba inu again. Only, I'm not sure if it's purebred or not 'cus its markings are kind of messed.

This was drawn without reference and I opted to stay true to the original inked markings, thus not changing them despite of inaccuracy.

In short: this dog is Japanese.

Shiba inu are one of my favourite smaller breeds and one of the only small breeds that I would consider as a pet. (It's because I think they could hold their own in a scrap with a coyote. Coyotes like killing small dogs here and as a hiker, I'd rather not invite them to dinner. I have read that shiba inu were traditionally hunting dogs and they are quite large actually as adults as far as small dogs go, so they may be better at holding their own.)

Black and tan, because I love how black and tan looks on Japanese breeds!
