lovley! I love how you added board-walk streets to keep the villager's feet clean! Also, the way you integrated the swamp into the village itself is amazing! it feels like it fits!

Not yet, I'm keeping an eye on how they develop tho, when more young ones show up I don't know how it will go since they run around so much.

Lol yea! Origionally they used modified pig AI from what I've read altho they are getting better with each update.

lol! I see that a lot still, especially in homemade villages...I think it has to do with what defines a village center point....which I still haven't a clue on.

have you tried taking the boundaries of the village and trying to find it's focal point? or perhaps there is something in the script that could help

The boundries of any given village are not so easy to pinpoint as far as I am aware, I've tried by monitoring the villagers movements but that takes a lot of time. I've read there is a 32 block diameter "circle" around some focal point, but it seems to me as if thats very small given some of the villages I've worked up/made.

Not to mention that every villager has their own rang. So adding more villagers with houses might just increase this. When I made a large obsidian wall around the village and then added more houses they never went out of the walls. Could bethat I got around that home circle range. Its a mystery

I'm doing an experiment to see just how much they free range, and how they react to a given enviroment. hopefully it works lol, they do seem to be rather random in their movements.

at least they now trade which is better than a couple patches ago lol, I hear that soon they will look more like the player charecters rather than Squidward too which will be a big improvement in my opinion.
