Description Yet again, I began my Rent watching schedule, and I finally finished a piece I started ages ago. It's a common pose to see Fai in, but I like the way the shading turned out. He looks like a kitty. ^^ Of course my scanner ruined the effect of the shading as always, but do bear with me. I love Fai way too much to be healthy.

On the topic of Rent... I have thought about doing a Mark pic for a while now, but I need to think of a way to go about it first. Mark Cohen + (I love Anthony Rapp) AND... I found a flaw in the movie that irritates me now. He is Jewish. I have no issues with that at all. BUT!... Despite the fact that he mentions his bar mitzvah at New Years and the fact that he tells Joanne he learned to tango at a Jewish community center with the Rabbi's daughter, he says Merry Christmas to Roger (Whom I've named Bon Jovi), he gets a phone call from his parents on Christmas morning when Hanukkah is about a week before hand and during the intro to La Vie Boheme he comments about the night when "we celebrate the birth". *Deep breath*

*Edit*
WTF is the new thing at the bottom when submitting new pics where you actually have to label if it's mature or not!? Isn't the usual box ENOUGH FOR THEM!?

Haha, thank-you hun! I'm so glad you liked it! Rent was definitely my muse all last Christmas season! Maybe I should start watching it again... I might actually update once in a while! Sorry for the long wait for a response!

Hahaha, I love it so much! It's prolly my top musical. We Will Rock you is amazing (I saw it live in London), and although I think the latest POTO could have been better, it's brilliant. I also saw that live in London. Rent takes the cake though, leagues above Hairspray, High School Musical, South Pacific, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Singing in the Rain, Suds, Sound of Music, etc. etc. etc. I just LOVE it.

You've seen those live in London? Omg, lucky! I wanted to see Rent on Broadway because I'm in LOVE with the guy who plays Mark Cohen! I went through a phase where I'd watch Rent about 2-3 times a day for about two weeks! I get a little over attentive with some things... XP

We Will Rock You has a really weird story line, but the actors were amazing! I have never heard singing like that before, and prolly never will again. It was insanely brilliant.

Hahaha, that I do. *Bows* I live waaaaaaaay over on the other side. I live in the sunny Okanagan Valley. It's about an hour's drive from the US border, and about 3-4 hour's drive from Vancouver. It's quite the nice little spot. ^^ It's good to hear from another Canadian! Most of my dA friends that actually respond are from the States or Great Britain, so it's a nice change to have a friend in my home nation. XP My coworker Andrea actually just moved here from Ontario because of her daughter's health.

According to everyone else who lives here or even visits, it's like a paradise. It's a semi-desert, so we rarely get rain. Our winters are mild, and our summers have record-breaking highs. My town is situated in between two decent-sized lakes, and it only takes about 15 minutes to drive from one end to the other if you take the channel way. There are small mountains on the other two sides, and it's just a quaint sort of town. It's small enough to only have 2 high schools, but big enough that it's not like the middle of no where. I don't think we have too many druggies, but it's hard for me to tell, as most of them apparently attended the other high school. We have more than one hobo I'm sure, but we don't really see many until around summer time. Summer is when the tourists come too... Arg, I'm a firm believer in "if it's Tourist Season, why can't we shoot them?" Honestly, they're so mean! I worked at a Tim Horton's for 2 and a half years, so I have every right to say such mean things. Not to be rude, but Albertans are the worst. I feel bad saying that, because I have friends from there, but every time there was an extra nasty person in Drive-thru, I would turn to my coworkers and make bets as to where they were from. Every time the person was extremely rude, their license plate was from Alberta. Now that I've quit Timmy's, I'm good with most travelers, although I still wish they'd go to a different town in the Okanagan... Hahaha, I love the Quebec cherry pickers! We get so many fruit pickers in the summer from Quebec! A lot of people get irritated with another language in our town, and others make comments about our French counter-parts stealing our jobs, but I adore them. They're always polite as customers, and I find their accents endearing. I feel bad for not paying better attention in French class. I suppose knowing the language would be rather helpful at times...

-nods- Im in the same boat, although most the french people here are really snobby, specially to the english residents. -sigh- But I find Newfoundlanders and Toronto folk VERY nice, lol. The newfies talk and talk and are always so lighthearted and funny! And the Toronto folk are nice, very welcoming, and very caring. ^^

I think it depends on the French people you talk to. I've noticed that when I go down East, they're very rude. They tend to think very highly of themselves, and don't have much interest for the rest of Canada. Of course I'm stereotyping, and not all French Candadiens fit into that mold. I have a few good friends from Quebec actually. One of my close friends moved to BC in grade 6, and back East in grade 11. She came for a visit last summer and stayed at my house. She brought a friend from Quebec, and I have to say I adore both of them! I really hope they come back to the Okanagan sometime! My house felt so empty after they left!

-nods- Exactly. I have a friend named Bubba, from Quebec. He's a Hells Angel, but he is freaking amazingly nice! You wouldnt expect it either! He's the type your parents tell you to stay the hell away from... But he's NOTHING like the steriotypical biker. Like, he NEVER EVER did drugs.
He drins occasionally, and his bike is his passion, and he always brought me and my sisters candy, and he would give us rides on his bike! He was sooo coool! I really wanna talk to him again. ^^

Haha, I think that's honestly all that matters. If they're just decent people with good intentions, things like occupations and pass times shouldn't matter. (Well... to an extent...)

Thank you so much! I know it's a common pose of Fai, but I just had to see what I could do with it. I'm so glad you like it! ^^ The legs and arms aren't quite in proportion, but the shading didn't turn out so bad. It's hard to tell with my scanner... as usual. XP Thank you for the fav on it too hun!

Hahaha, Fai is definitely the most adorable character in existence. ^^ The only reason I continued buying Tsubasa at all was for Fai. Now Vic Mignogna voices him, and I find myself spending even more on the anime series too now. ^^
