Snakes on a Plane baby!Ok, I saw this movie this summer on my BIRTHDAY. Needless to say, it was the biggest waste of time I've ever experienced in my life. I wanted to kill the 3 ppl who forced me to see it. >< But, some good can come of such horrid things. In this case, I learned of William Beckett. He is gorgeousness. He was in the music video after the show. Its called Bring It by Cobra Starship. They were put together for this song and one album only. I found that William Beckett is in his own band called The Academy Is... I now have both the Cobra Starship CD and Almost Here by The Academy Is... I'm quite proud of that fact. XP

He is supposed to be sitting in a chair in the airport, but I got too lazy to draw the chair. So you're stuck with this. Just imagine a chair is there, k? XP I know the hand is off, and the whole thing looks horrid, but I had no ref pic, k?

i love it!!!! william beckett is so amazingly gorgeous in real life, and once i actually got to meet him! he is so nice, he signed my poster and my shoe, and i got a picture of him giving me a hug! i love your picture so much, it looks exactly like him in the music video!

He's a tall, skinny, sweet, adorable boy with PERFECT HAIR! ^^ *gushes* None of my friends like him, and they refuse to listen to The Academy Is... *tears* But I adore William Beckett with all my soul! I was supposed to go see them open for Fall Out Boy last year, but they changed the date to my History Exam day and graduation ceremony. I was so disappointed! Thank you so much for the comment!

I know! They're amazing! I was forced to see Snakes on a Plane on my BIRTHDAY when it came out in theatres, but some good came of it. I can sing, thank god. I wish i could...just...get the luck. Anything, anything, to be on stage, to let people hear my work, my love, my music. It's my life, the only time i can be true. I feel music is the only way to truly be who you are. It's how the world can connect, because it's something everything does. Those people who take the lifestyle for boys (or girls) or riches or fame, they can just fuck off. Music isn't a job, it's a dream. To be a storyteller, a songwriter, that is my dream.
As soon as I heard 'Slow Down', i knew he though the same. And so far, 'he's not like them... [he] won't buy in.' TAI is different blood, the dream, the frendship, TAI.

Hahaha, sometimes it's not what you know, but who you know. Get some connections going and mebbe things will take a positive turn! The music industry is hard to get a grip on, but if you make it, you'll make it big. I like that you compare it to being a story teller. To be a truly inspirational artist, you need to tell stories with your music. Not just the words, but the melody, the tone, and the general sound of your voice. If you can do that, then people will love you for it.

Unfortunately no. I have too many other trips planned over the course of this next year, and Warped Tour would be just too much to add to my expenses. My friend went a few years ago and missed them. She wasn't too upset... she doesn't much care for them, but I was devastated!

The movie was AWFUL. I had to go. >< It was my birthday, and my close friend had promised to hang out with me. She changed her mind and decided to go see it with 2 other friends. When I phoned her and she told me this, I was so distraught she invited me to go with. It was either hang out alone on my birthday, or go to the movies with them. It sucked. So much.

I don't listen to my music nearly as much as I once did, but my iPod is still my baby! Plus my computer scratched one of my TAI... CDs, so the only way I can listen to the last half of them is on my iPod. Plus, it was one of my best expensive purchases just over a year ago. I bought it in between grade 11 and 12 so that I would have music to listen to on my way to Vancouver for AE, so it brings some really happy associations and connotations with it. Plus I also spent about $125 on amazing headphones, so as a set I'm very protective of them. XP

In the mean time, I know where you're coming from. From the times of Harry Potter and Clay Aiken, to my recent fandoms of Edward Elric, Fai D. Honestly, it's something a lot of people do. If you have that type of personality, there's not much you can do about it. You'll eventually find other people who are as obsessive as you are about other subject matter, and it'll all be good. XP My close friend is like that, but she likes other things, so it all works out. We can understand each other's fandoms, but we don't necessarily share them.

It took me a while to find a friend as fangirly as I am. We don't have the same fandoms, but we can understand each other's rants. It's epic. XP We actually make everything epic. We can go out for pie, and make it the most fun and amazing experience in the world. We're that nifty together. XP
