Description This guy has been on my mind for AGES and i finally got the muse to do it. This creature is mostly painted by hand with my Huion H610 tablet. At least 20 hours and more than 100 layers later, here he is in all his glory!
Hippocampus is an old term for a water horse, Pterois is the scientific name for the Lionfish. So he is a lionfish waterhorse. All of the fish in this image are my own stock (including the school and hammerhead shark in the background). Also the coral in the foreground is mine.

wow i love this, i have been playing around with doing a hippocampus manyself but i know i can't top this, its fantastic. any horse morph is hard and when added with underwater elements its gets even trickier but this is fantic. much better than my zeefish lol
