My poor hand! XD I went through at least 10 sticks of mechanical pencil lead to get this thing totally done, but I am so proud of this picture! I love it!

Yes, that's Batman and Raven. I based Batman's pose off a picture of the Trinity and Raven's look and pose is completely original. Her hair was hell to design, but I'm extremely pleased with the results. She was much harder to do than Batman. This is my first attempt at drawing Batman and it turned out way better than expected.

Story behing the picture:
Raven is rejected by the Justice League in the comics so I created my own continuation of this. As she walks down the dark streets of Gotham City, Batman follows her.

Raven: Come forth from your shadow, Batman, you need not follow me.
Batman: I know of someone who can help you.
Raven: I need not charity from a man who cannot see the truth.
Batman: This isn't charity. I'm going with my gut feeling, Raven, I'm trusting your word.
Raven: And yet you seek not to help me yourself?
Batman: I can't abandon the team.
Raven: So be it.
Batman: Go to Jump City, I'm sure you'll be able to find him. He goes by the name of Robin.
Raven: How do I know this man will listen to me.
Batman: *throws her one of his bat shaped weapons* Tell him I sent you.

I'm going to ink and color this later and I plan to draw a picture of Robin and Raven's meeting. This whole story will become a part of my on going fanfic on ff.net that just so happens to share the same title as this picture.
