Nah it's all good, just wasn't what I expected to come across...

Yeah the film wasn't great considering it was his last 'solo movie' but thankfully he got more than enough screentime in other movies.

I think Killian should have been MODOK.

Hell if they needed a Caucasian mandarin, I could have written a better one that does not involve him going after Ironman because he hurt his feelings years ago.

Here's how I would have made Killian as the Mandarin. 

Years ago in the early 90s, Killian was once a brilliant business man and chemist. He believed that extremis would benefit mankind, but the results always end in failure (people exploding). Obadiah Stane wanted to buy Killian's company, but he reused. Obadiah then threaten to tell the government of his failed extremis test if Killian doesn't give him the company. Wanting to save his reputation, Killian gave him the company. Obadiah then ran Killian's company to the ground, and left thousands of workers unemployed. In disgrace, Killian moved to china where he had business partners that he can work with. He decided to put extremis away for a while, and focus on his new job in china. Killian loved China and its culture. He also loved its mythology and stories. One of the stories was called The Mandarin and the 10 Rings, about a young chines prince given 10 magic rings from a dragon god named Fin Fang Foom. Things were looking bright for Killian. But then Justin Hammer made a business deal with the chines company, and Killian was laid off. Killian then moved to the Middle East to get away from it all. He took what he had, built a small lab, and continued his extremis experience. But then an oil company wanted Killian to move so they can drill oil. Killian refused. He then over heard the owner of the oil company to remove Killian by force tomorrow. That night, Killian inserted extremis into the workers food and water supply when they were asleep. In the morning, it was the last breakfast they ever had. Everyone believed this to be a terrorist attack, but they don't know who caused it. But a small group of men came to Killian believing that he caused all this (Since the camp was 20 miles away from his home, there for he was the closes). They became impressed with Killian and begged him to do it to more American companies coming to the middle east. This became a spiritual awaking for Killian. He will not only do it to other Americans, but will do it to other American influences in the Middle East. He called his group the 10 Rings, and later called himself the Mandarin. As years past, the 10 Rings grew into a powerful and deadly terrorist organization next to Hydra. 

As The Mandarin, Killain's outfit will be similar to the fake Mandarin's outfit, only he'll wear a chines warrior helmet or turban to hide his face www.comicbookmovie.com/iron_ma… www.comicbookmovie.com/iron_ma… www.comicbookmovie.com/iron_ma…

When he battles Ironman, Killian will wear an armored suit similar to Ironman's suit, but with a more dragon theme/chines warrior look (similar to what you made), has ring blasters, and its powered by extremis (which is 10 times more powerful than what Tony uses for his suit). We see him in the suit in three moments. 1 is when he destroys Tony's home, the second is when he kidnaps the president, and then during the final battle.

Killian is also not an idiot. He doesn't hire someone to play the part as the Mandarin, its all him in disguise. When Tony is captured, he doesn't tell his plan, says how he hurt his feelings years ago, and just leaves him. He left 15 minutes early when Tony was captured, had a recording prepared for Tony of how America was getting to big for the world, and gave orders to his men to shoot Tony when the video was over (Luckily Iron Patriot came just in time to save Tony before they fired). The Mandarin's plan was to have 50 men take the extremis virus, be in 50 states, and cause a disaster by Midnight. He calls it, a Christmas gift from the Mandarin to America. 

Now how's that?
