whew, finally done!
This was a commission for *F-0-X-Y of her lovely horse, gypsy . I'm pretty pleased with it, the lighting gave me a rough time, that's why it look so long to finish.
I'm still not sure I captured her color right though
...CRAP I FORGOT THE EYE...

Arabs are very flowing yet highly strung, and I love the way you've portrayed this, with the elegant position and pround head. Something does seem a tiny bit out of on sync around the muzzle though which i can't pick-out.
It's probaly just me ^ ^ Brilliant though.

outline: I stick to about a 10px- brush and keep the opacity around 70%-80% (:
Yep, I smudge him, but I lower the opacity because I don't like the plasticy look, I like it to look real.

Sure! I usually smudge with a medium sized round fuzzy brush for the body, and smaller fuzzy brush for the face. I keep the opacity of the layer about 50%-80% depending on how much smudging I did (:
