Well, it's about time I did something I actually put effort into. I know it lacks background and not everything is perfect, and it's horribly, *horribly* 2-d... augh. unoriginal. BUT... I worked on the CG for about 6 hours, which in my book warrants some kind of goodness. At least for me.These characters are from FLCL, and I'm dedicating this pic to my g/f Cindy who (I think) gave me the idea to turn the sketch into FLCL characters, and has suddenly fallen ill with rabid FLCL fandom. Love you, you silly girl.
Pencil drawing on cardstock, CG with mouse and Photoshop 7. Will someone teach me to use tablet+painter? I was supposed to be taking a class for it, buuuuuut UCF fucks. *shrugs*
Oh, and the cat smoking.. .uhm. Mamimi smokes and is irresponsible, and her kitty tends to do some crazy things. Don't smoke, kids.
I might upload a detail of the clouds, I'm really impressed with those. Spent 2 hours on them alone.

Great job on the shading. Excellent oil paint effect. The shading seems subtle and awesome.
I don't mean to be negative, but I believe Mamimi's nose is a little over extended. Apart from that, the drawing looks outstanding.

i REALLY LIKED this picture too. (sorry about the caps, im too lazy to delete and rewrite.) I especially liked the cat in this one. there is something about the mixture of the cat and maybe its the wall or something. It looks really good though.
