A finished piece! It's a little crazy, and the background's a bit lazy, but I really liked playing with this one, getting a color scheme/lighting scheme I liked. It's supposed to be a bit energetic/sloppy. I couldn't make Sonic's colors more vivid without making it look bad though :\Related content

Definitely an awesome piece.
I love the energy of it
I think the bright green may be a little distracting from the characters, which is a shame, because they look really nice.
(my normal monitor is busted, so all of the green pixels don't fire. The first time I saw the picture, it looked like it was made entirely out of oranges and blues. The bright green was more of a darker, but really saturated blue. I think it looks cool)

The fact that you liked playing with this one shows. I generally find that the quality of my art is directly proportional to how much fun I had making it. And the background, while simple, really works adding energy to the work without taking focus from the subject. I really like it.

A really nice work with colors, i like the sketchyness alot, and the orange/teal mix fits great as well
By the way, i'm not sure if you'd be willing to give out your secret but what type of brushes do you use and what program, are those photoshop brushes or do you actually use a different program to color?

I make my own brushes using photoshop, but I only have like... 4 different brushes, and they're all simple squarish versions of the normal Hard Round Flat brush. I color with photoshop too.
