Was it particularly painful to make those openings for the clothing straps?Β It certainly doesn't look very comfortable, though I guess it might not be that different from getting piercings...

She numbed up the area as best she could before doing it, so it was more painful after the procedure than during. The openings are cut close enough to her body that the straps wrap around her waist instead of going through her wings, so it's not too uncomfortable.
Noche: "And it's definitely not as uncomfortable as the skintight aerodynamic jumpsuits I was wearing before. I... don't like the way they clung to my skin."

No, not at all! ...Not to imply that I wouldn't want to touch your wings, if given the offer; I'm sure they'd feel as pleasant as they look. In truth, I was considering a more comfortable alternative to those straps. A perfectly smooth surface is an excellent anchor for a suction cup. Possibly a little less reliable than your current setup, though...

The straps aren't just for her clothes, she could easily do clothing without them. If you look at her reference, she actually has some equipment on her back that's rather heavy. The straps are mostly for that.

Though to be honest, I have no idea what she'd to if someone hugged her. Gifts of candy are the better way to go.
