"Jusqu'Γ  la mort" is in French. Scotland and France were very linked (cf Mary Stuart). According to the portraits and suits, I'd say this tomb was built in the 16th century, what do you think ?

I think you are right.....very late 16th or 17th century costume.
Yes....Scotland and France have a long history as "friends". My enemies enemy is my friend ie. England. Β The relationship dates way back to the 13th century. Β  Β p://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auld_Alliance
There are many Scots words which are corruptions of the French eg ashet ..which is a big plate...from assiette.

French corruption is not rare when we speak about foodΒ

Probably content after building an orphanage or two hoping to get away with it. Like that Nobel jackass and his idiotic peace prize.

Isn't human/urban society mostly a collection of jokes, farces, myths, lies, blatant lies, pathetic lies, misconceptions, romantization, daydreams, contradictions, false hope and general wishful thinking? Like "sustainability" for example, or "Earth Day".

Is this a trick question?
Where are your new art works?

My Dandy Arty Me has submerged and has been replaced by a sturdy hard-working studying-like-an-idiot one. See also [link] . I really must check out the mud thing, I already have a place in the local "woods" in mind where I might find a suitable type (and probably risk getting fined for up to EU 2000 for taking ANYTHING out of the forest. That's what living in the big Efteling which NL really is is about.. (I once went on a guided tour in the forest and at some point I lit a cigarette and some tart said "Forest polluter". She meant the smoke, not the cigarette itself which was self-rolled and 100% biodegradable. I live in a mental Disney World)). Then I would need something to fixate the mud, which would be glue. Not so eco perhaps. And something to smear it onto of course. Etc. Thanks for your curiosity. And yes, screw Earth Day and perhaps Bono with it, no trick questions here

Russian....hmmm why Russian I wonder out loud?
Why not Russian I wonder out loud again?

Well..I'll miss your visual output. It looked good on the small screen.
I think a lot of art that is produced to be viewed on the computer
often doesn't "translate" well into the real world of pictures.....and
vice versa.

With regards to you entering your mud period. You could always make your own
glue if you are determined to be eco friendly.....use rabbit skin or horses hooves
there must be some of them nearby.
You could smear it onto passing "tarts" in the forest which may result in you
being arrested by the Efteling constabulary.Minor draw back.We must suffer for
our Art.

I once overheard a guy from Slovakia talking to an Afghan woman in Russian here in NL (speaking of globalization) and I was astonished by the beauty of the language. Monotonously melodic to be precise, FM vs AM - in Russian stress is expressed as a change in pronunciation rather than in volume. So I said I was going to learn Russian and the woman, who had been trained as a children's doctor in Moscow during the Russian "visit" to Afghanistan looked at me with a glance saying "As if..". Need I explain the effect "As if.." has on me

Well, time to go shoot a few rabbits I guess, in prep of.. There aren't too many over here, no, because of some mysterious disease which came on top of the periodic myxomatosis carnage. Will hare skin also do? We do have a surplus of wild(ish) pigs or boar as pretentious people like to call them, but I find them way too sympathetic to go after their skins or hooves, unless perhaps at wartime. I know that my German family during the war regularly ate "roof hare" which is the neighbors' cat of course. We also have a surplus of deer, which are fairly bland and stupid, compared to pigs at least (which also have a superior sense of humor, in fact deer have no humor at all), so maybe I could scrape something useful off of those

Art. I have no Idea.

I tend to avoid forest tarts btw, mostly by never entering any place referred to as "nature" on Sunday afternoons. But who knows what dropping my principle and smearing a number of them with mud might lead to.. Could get quite interesting

so much to see here . . . still combing through all the intricate details . . . the figure at the top seems to be of a different material . . . the hands are clasped in a handshake as if to say in life they were inseparable . . . perhaps brothers, or close political allies.

Its a pretty impressive tomb. This is just a part of it.Its probably about 18 ft high or thereabouts.
They are husband and wife...the figure on the right is a woman wearing 17 th century
garb.Til death us do part and all that.
I particularly like the little figure with the scythe at top right.

Yes, I too was attracted to this figure at the top-right. At first I thought he was slicing into a harpooned whale with his staff.
