Una vez más con San Jorge, este año tampoco le ha ido muy bien. Pobrecito, se ha quedado sin beso de la princesa y sin matar al dragón. No había nada que él pudiera hacer.

Al principio, no tenía una idea muy clara de cómo sería ni el rumbo que tomaría con esta ilustración, pero al final me ha sorprendido lo bien que ha quedado en general. Tenía sobretodo miedo por el fondo porque quería dar profundidad y tenía que escoger los colores adecuados para ello.

Cada 23 de abril es el día de Sant Jordi, es costumbre que los hombres regalen una rosa roja con una espiga de trigo a las mujeres y ellas les regalan un libro.

One more year with Saint George, but he is sad. Poor St. George, he didn’t get the kiss of the princess or killed the dragon. There was nothing that he could do.

I'm surprised. At the beginning, I had no clear idea how to do the illustration or what form it would take but, in the end, this has been good. I was afraid that the background didn't have depth and I had to choose the right colors to solve this.

Each April 23 is the day of Saint George, he is patron of Catalonia. It is customary for men give a red rose to women and women give them a book. It is similar to Valentine's day.
