Before the war, Sideswipe, along with his twin brother Sunstreaker, were students at Yokitron's Dojo. However, the brothers would often disagree with each other, often leading to the 2 fighting each other. Deadlock often had to break both of them up. Things still didn't change when the war started. Although the brothers had been on many successful missions, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker would always disagree on each other strategies often leading to them fighting each other than the Decepticons. Sometimes, higher ranking officers like Prowl, Jazz, or Ironhide. However, oftentimes, the Brothers would agree to work together when it calls for it. Sometimes, however, unlike his brother Sunstreaker, Sideswipe was a hotshot. Often landing him in trouble on the battlefield, often his cockeyness leading him to bud heads with Bumblebee.
