-Always barefoot
-Medium brown ears and tail that lacks the characteristic ruffles of a Ruffleloo

-Light brown fur
-Medium brown ears and tail that lacks the characteristic ruffles of a Ruffleloo
-Longer medium brown fur that covers chest

Bio:

Griffon and Raphael found Avery when they were on a mission to a poachers' den. They found Avery, a sick, starved young Ruffleloo whose ruffles had been sheared to be sold by the poachers. Treated little more than livestock or merchandise, Avery had been held in captivity for who knows how long; he either does not remember or refuses to say.

Upon his rescue, Avery bonds immediately to Griffon. He clings to Griffon and refuses to leave his side. Avery desperately looks to Griffon for comfort, especially at night, where he will sneak into Griffon's bed for warmth and companionship. At first, Griffon is extremely uneasy and chases him out but eventually pretends to not notice the small boy coming into his room.

Avery is the closest with Griffon and Marlee, but eventually warms up and likes everyone at the inn. He takes the longest time trusting Raphael, because of an incident during their first encounter. Avery will herd Marlee around using his tail. At night, if he is not with Griffon, one can find Avery and Marlee snuggled together, with Avery's tail wrapped tightly around her. After Griffon and Marlee, Avery bonds next with Knox, who quiets him and Avery likes him also because "he smells nice." Avery is constantly stealing food from the kitchen, running away from the furious Annetta. Little does he know that she purposely leaves food out "unsupervised" so that he has easy access to it; his starving form is of much concern to her. Brayford's shear mass terrifies him at first but now enjoys being draped over his shoulders while in feral form as Brayford walks around.

Avery spends almost all of his time in humanoid form, more than is usual for a Ruffleloo. This is out of habit of being punished in captivity when he reverted to his natural feral form. Avery only reverts to feral form when he wants to hide, sneak around, actually wants to be in that form, or is in too deep of a sleep to hold his humanoid form. His lack of ruffles is an extremely sore subject for Avery. Having them harvested and stolen against his will is a huge physical violation to a Ruffleloo. His ruffles will eventually grow back but will take months to even began to regrown and up to a year before they once again reach their full glory

Personality:

-Very cautious and untrusting, especially around men (excluding Griffon)
-Takes a very long time to warm up to people
-Very curious, the curiosity will usually overpower the unease
-Once he trusts a person, they are immediately good friends
-Will not talk to an individual who has not won his trust
-Once his friend, Avery will not stop talking, always asking questions, always underfoot
-Can be very fidgety and skittish at loud noises and things that trigger memories of his captivity.
-Can be snarky and feisty
-Is known to steal and sneak around out of survival habit
-Pouts and run and hide when reprimanded
-Angry cries but not in front of the people/person who hurt him
-Turns almost feral if you touch his tail without his permission. Will snarl and bite in human form, crouching on the ground as his hair gets poofier. Only Marlee and Griffon can touch his tail at this present time.
-Always hungry
-Hates the dark, being alone, and closed/tight spaces
-Protective and loyal, especially around Marlee.

There is much more information about Avery but it is plot sensitive, so I am sorry, this is all I am willing to say.
