(sorry for the spam these days, guys ^^U I did many drawings)Digital commission for ~TurboC30
Kikyou is 7 years old here ,and she is learning to write n__n
What's she writing? don't you know? ^^ It's the kanji for the word: tree.
This is the second drawing from a serie of commissions that tells the Kikyo's life when she was a child
I really love this drawing!!I'm very glad with the result!
The bg was a little difficult in the begining, but after, there wasn't problem! huhuhu^^By the way, did you know the japanese cats have a very short tail?? O_o

I've seen plenty of pictures in which Kagome is a kid, but this is my first time seeing a young Kikyo and it's beautiful

The Kikyo's childhood is all mystery. In the show it never was showed nothing about when she was a kid. So we can just imagine snif -.- Btw, thank you ^^ glad you like it!

I have a question though. How do I make my outlines perfect? After I scanned my FA, it turned out fuzzy... : (

so your FA is traditional...uhmmm Maybe you can use the contrast and brightness effects, use them for softening your linearts (-not too much contrast). And the transparency effect (just a little bit). I don't usually retouch the traditional lineart of my works, but I hope these advices will work.
