-Sakura Pigma Micron pens on a very large piece of watercolor paper and also possibly some ghosts or something.

NOTE: Probably don't read below this if you haven't done Ralis' quest yet. Just in case.

So I accidentally drew Ralis naked.

Let me explain.

This whole piece has actually been one big disaster after another. Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with the result and am proud of the progress I've made having stuck through it (and it was a struggle! How many times did I almost quit?!?! It's still not perfect! Arrrgh!)... But things have definitely been weird. Like, cosmically weird. In addition, I could go on and write you a novel about all the emotional stuff I had been working on during the creation of this piece, but that would be way boring for everyone except me so I won't.

Let's talk about some of the weird stuff instead.

This piece took, what, two months to finish? Originally, I wanted to make a small little drawing that showed Ralis looking vulnerable, without his armor. I meant to put him in clothes, something with short sleeves though, as I wanted to practice drawing arms. Ralis apparently did not want to wear ANY clothes. No sera. Yep, I have redrawn this piece 4 or 5 times, all with the same result. And this is not a small drawing, either. So, I gave up and left him naked (or is he wearing pants? You decide!). Also, this piece is so large I had to tape a few pieces of paper together to fit it all in on the rough draft, then I had to find a piece of paper big enough to fit him when I was done with the sketch. The art store was out of the size I needed (?!), so I made do with the largest paper I had on hand. The image here is actually missing some of his lower half, the drawing is actually larger than this, but I did what I had to. A part of me wants me to do this again, but bigger, when the art store gets more of that paper in stock, and then also throw some color on it. I am tying to ignore this, of course. It's quite loud, though...

Indeed, this thing had a mind of its own. What started out as a plan to make a sweet and vulnerable little picture of Ralis turned into a big giant freakin' glam shot.

In addition to nothing going as planned and feeling compelled to keep working on this thing for very long hours at a time, I've also been having these really weird dreams. I just couldn't get him out of my head. He wouldn't leave me alone. Sometimes, I'd hear voices. Thoughts. Imaginings. They've only gotten louder since I've kept working on this. Pounding, driving. A couple of times I blacked out. I-I'm NOT crazy...! I'm just fine! You, you believe me, don't you?

...

... I'm tired, folks. It took me two months of really obsessive drawing and redrawing to finish this. Then today, my camera was acting weird when it came time to photograph him, and I had to make several tries to successfully transfer the file to the computer, and then he wouldn't post, so I had to convert the file and try again. My computer did in fact glitch out and freeze up a ton, drawing this all out even longer, and then right when I was about to post this, it turned itself off. I sure hope this goes through this time. I've been at this for a few hours today. It's like he's trying to keep me busy. He's trying to m-

Maybe next time, I'll draw someone naked on purpose. Maybe this picture of Ralis is the first in a long and ridiculous line of naked dunmer glam shots. Maybe, I should take a break from working with Ralis for a while. What do you think?

I'm gonna go take a nap. And hide this piece in the closet.

And then maybe, the voices, will... Stop.

BTW If I disappear again for a few months, do you mind checking on me and making sure I'm ok? And that I didn't start hiring folks to 'dig holes' for me or something? I'd appreciate that. Thanks.
