I like to mix in cartooniness and realic qualities, so I guess that helps me understand things better, especially cartoons!

No seriously, digital art makes it hard for me to capture, well anything to be honest. I feel I belong to the tradition world of art, the manual hands on stuff. For instance, photo-manipulation through darkrooms and a unique took kit, not photoshop. Im just significantly better at tradtional, yet im to lazy to upload, so im blowing air out my ass. HURRRP
I can't manage cartooning, if it doesn't have a sense of realism I have an aneurysm in my metaphorical head of rage. Despite that, I love looking at cartoon styled things.
Rarity is best pony after all.

Ugggh inorite? I'm actually sorta the opposite, strangely enough. Errr... well kinda. When I first started getting into doing tablet stuff on the computer, I found in troublesome to go back to TRADITIONAL because I had to erase manually and all that. But eventually, as it stands now, I actually handle switching from drawing on the comp at home and drawing in school quite well...
But hey, just give it some time and perseverance, and you'll get there, mate.
And aww, yeah sometimes you've just got to MAKE sense out of cartoons to really understand the realistic "anatomy of it." As in FORCE it, on some occasions. Or, just make stuff up and hope it would seem similar to the cartoony style in this new realistic style that I'm trying to invent. Which is pretty much what I did here. :E

But the thing is, I never feel inclined to draw on the computer unless my friend coaches me into drawfagging on /b/. Besides that, its rarely recreational, probably just the circumstances of when I do it. Im not sure to be honest.

Well I usually draw abstract or surrealism so I usually warp and delude, distort, and manipulate it to my hearts desire. I direly need to upload my stuff ajghdalkdhglgjda;lhja;ldjh;adjfh. I love this style by the way, probably my favorite style of a drawing of rarity in a normal fashion (not horribly demented and scary on purpose I mean, like other ones I enjoy).
DO EIT. I've been meaning to draw heavy making a debut at a preschool to read a picture book to babies. Something about heavy sitting in a toddlers chair and reading to babies is oddly amusing.

Aw, that's too bad. Well if tablet drawing isn't for you, it just isn't for you. But don't give up on something just because it makes you a little less comfortable or tense. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone!
Ah, that's the thing about abstract art. Sure, it sorta does let you be more creative and spontaneous and all--but there isn't any structure behind it. Maybe you should try being a little less abstract and try seeing if you can do more realistic stuff?
