Oh! I finished it!!! It's 3 am in Estonia and I have to go to school today.. I feel like I've lost my motivation to draw. For example I started with this picture on Thursday and I finished it today. Oh well, at least I finished it
George R.R.Martin is a brilliant author, really! It's amazing how he can manage making the readers hate characters and then he changes everything and people start feeling sorry for these characters. I didn't like Jamie Lannister aka The Kingslayer, but I started liking him through the last books.
So this picture is dedicated to all you Game of Thrones fans (especially Jamie Lannister/ Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's lovers)

He is now my favorite character next to Jon Snow, Arya Stark, Tyrion and Petyr Baelish...they're all kind of tied in a shifting first place.
But Jaime is so misunderstood. He became Kingsguard for the honor and witnessed a mad tyrant king and when he killed this horrible person, everyone condemned him for it. And he loves his little brother Tyrion, he just doesn't want to dissapoint his father and his sister (well we all have our flaws). And then he was a shallow guy who just fought wars(SPOILERS AHEAD) but when he got his hand removed he became different. He cared for Sansa's life and Cat's last wishes, he rescued his little brother, realized what a leech Cersei is, what a monster Joffrey was, and how ruthless his father is. He is trying to make the world a better place. End Rant.

Jaime was never someone I could hate. I didn't like him at the beginning, yes, but now when I read the series for the third time, I realize he's more like a... hm... victim of conditions. Too hard to hate him now. And he's always had some sense of humor that his bitch of a sister lacks
Ten of ten possible for the drawing, it's perfectly realistic. I love the look you put on his face (whether it's totally your idea or comes from a ref picture, doesn't matter, still love it!)

When I first read the first book I hated him, but yes, you're absolutely right about the fact that his victim of conditions. His father is waiting too much from him, Cersei is just a bitch that fucks his mind and everyone is calling him Kingslayer even though at this moment Mad King's death was right thing. That's what I love about Jamie, his not as simple as he looks like.

About Aerys' murder, I don't think that was the best thing to do, but now, the best fact about this series is that they are way more real than any others I've read. Aside from the dragons and stuff.
And Cersei sleeps with him only because he reminds her of herself, as she's a selfish bitch. That does invoke some pity, though I believe pity is the last thing Jaime would want.

Motherly love can go beyond the borders of normality. And there's no way I could ever like that in her, because that is why she and that piece of rubbish Joff killed Ned; and Ned is my perfect character in this story. So, no pity for Cersei. I hope she isn't killed soon, though, so that Dany and/or Tyrion could deal with her

Yeah... actually, if she dies before the end, who would we hate? I mean, like a general hate. Because some people hate Tyrion, while others totally love him, and so forth with other characters. And we all hated Tywin and Joffrey, but now all we have is Cersei.

I felt sorry for Theon in A Dance With Dragons. I know he betrayed Robb, but I still feel sorry for him. He is fucked up and don't know what to do but in his heart I think he isn't bad. Not as bad as Cersei anyway
