~*~ Late at night in her servant quarters, Attina painstakingly crafted a beautiful dress from scraps of seaweed and other ocean plants, dreaming of the day she could attend the Atlantis Ball. Day after day she hoped for an invitation to the ball, knowing full well it was an impossibility. When the evening arrived, Attina didn't let her dismay ruin the night-- she donned her dress and tiptoed into the grand dining hall of the estate while all the owners were attending the ball. There, she twirled and leapt and danced under the chandeliers, closing her eyes and yearning for the day when she could dance for the prince. ~*~
