Entry for -- surprise surprise -- another contest, this time at . Since spring is riiiiiiiight around the corner, the theme was to draw your favorite character enjoying the new season. Hooray for Ravenpaw! He's remembering his days as a Clan cat, sharpening his skills after a long winter of being tucked away in the barn.Watch me speedpainting this! [link]

Totally! And given Thunderclan's habitat, Ravenpaw had probably spent the first eight or so moons of his life with bits of leaves in his pelt and dirt in his ears all the time and didn't care too much.

My thoughts exactly! I really don't think the Clan cats would pay that mucha ttention to stuff in their pelts other than ticks. If anything, I think maybe the Riverclan cats MIGHT be concerned with bits of stuff in their fur, but there's a bunch of random crud in rivers that could get stuck int there...

Yeah. I've always seen RiverClan as the cats who put too much effort into keeping their fur neat and clean for their own good, but maybe that's just me.

I scare people by being able to remember dumb facts/ character's names in French when no one else can. And then I forget everything else that MAY come in handy in the real world.

I'm exactly the same way. My mind manages to retain a ridiculous amount of thoroughly useless information, and yet completely blank whenever I have to remember something that actually matters.

Yup. Sometimes my brain works in my favour, though, and actually helps me during tests and exams. I can't rely on that happening, though...

That's usually how it works for me, but of course there are those inevitable moments of complete and total DERP when I can't remember the one thing we've been reviewing in class for days.
