Description This is a photo of a Crested Gecko that I took at Planet Reptile.

I love crested geckos, they're really beautiful lizards. I'm particularly fond of the soft earthy colours in this photo.

Came second in #Photographic-Animals 's Reptiles and Amphibians Contest !

I think too - I can't wait to start with breeding (I live with my parents now and mum said, that I can breed them until they move away ... she is probably afraid)

I have a Canon EOS 350D, and yes, it certainly gets me the shots I want. But this particular shot was taken with a borrowed macro lens, which would normally be way out of my price range, so it was great to be able to borrow it for a day.
