I know I commented this before, but in the light of Netflix's latest hit...

PITCH
All of Corona is in danger.  All you have to do is confess to the murder of Eugene Fitzherbert.  Stand with me and silence all whispers of rebellion.  Only you can stop a war before it begins.

RAPUNZEL
What do YOU care about Corona?

PITCH

Why, Rapunzel, had I not intervened, you would be dead.

RAPUNZEL

But now, because you did intervene, we are all your slaves.

(Pitch laughs uproariously.)

PITCH

Oh, that's a rich one.  Let me ask you this, Rapunzel--if no one in Corona realizes he is a slave, would he be a slave?  Now, all of Corona is happy!  Eating, dancing, drinking, running like little Labrador puppies.

RAPUNZEL

We are not your pets!

PITCH

That is where you are wrong!  You humans live for only a few short decades.  I, on the other hand, am a god!  What I am to you, you are to mayflies.  The choice is either pets or enemies.  Choose wisely, Rapunzel...

(Rapunzel ponders for a few seconds.)

RAPUNZEL

If I say what you want me to say, will you stop threatening other people's lives?

PITCH

Mmm...I can't promise you anything.

RAPUNZEL

Hmph!  Then I refuse!

PITCH

ALL PEOPLE LOSE, OR FEW PEOPLE LOSE ALL!  WAR IS DEATH!

RAPUNZEL

Unless WE win!

PITCH

All right!  That's it!

(With a wave of his arm, a piece of the ceiling opens, letting light on Rapunzel.)

PITCH

Go, then!  Run away!  Have your precious little war!  But it will be on YOUR head, Rapunzel, if all of Corona dies because its lovely princess chose to run...again.

(Rapunzel hesitates, studies the light on top of her, but then...she lowers her head and sighs.  The light is shut off.)

PITCH

There, now.  That wasn't so hard, was it?  It is so exhausting being the voice of reason in such an insane world...

After a few days of being locked up, Jack comes to Rapunzel. She looks up at him, tears of joy streaming down her face. "Jack! You found me!" 
"Shh! I'm gonna get you out." Jack said. Rapunzel nodded. Jack went and released her. Suddenly, Pitch's laughter filled the room. Rapunzel gasped in pain as she felt someone pull her hair...Pitch. "STOP IT, PITCH! LET HER GO!" Jack pointed his staff. Pitch only laughed and tightened his grip.
"AGH!" Rapunzel cried. "Jack...please do something. Hurry!" Jack looked at her, then at Pitch, his body was shaking. Pitch noticed this and smiled.
"If you want her...give me the staff." Pitch said. Rapunzel shook her head.
"Jack, don't do it!" Rapunzel cried. "It's a-" She was cut off with another cry of pain from Pitch pulling her hair.
"If I give it to you...will you let her go?" Jack asked.
"I promise..." Pitch said. Jack gave it to him.
"Now let her go." Jack said.
"No, I don't think I will." Pitch said. "I like her as my pet." He released Rapunzel for a few seconds and broke Jack's staff.
"NO!" Rapunzel cried. Pitch sent a Nightmare Sand ball straight towards Jack, knocking him cold. Rapunzel turned to Pitch. "Please, let me heal him."
"Why should I?" Pitch asked.
"Because..." Rapunzel paused. "He's my friend."
"Deal." Pitch said, releasing her. She immediately went to Jack and healed him.
"R-Rapunzel?" Jack groaned.
"Shh! You're safe now, Jack." Rapunzel said, comforting him.
"What about Pitch?" Jack asked.
"Don't worry. I've got a plan." Rapunzel said. Suddenly, the Guardians came. "On second thought..."
"No more of this, Pitch." North said. They defeated him and Jack, Rapunzel, and the others went back to the Pole.
"Thank you, Jack...for everything..." Rapunzel said.
"Of course." Jack said. Then Rapunzel went back home to Corona.
"I'll always believe in you, Jack." Rapunzel whispered. "Always..."

Rapunzel sat in the cold, dark cell, struggling, until an evil laughter filled the room. Pitch appeared, causing Rapunzel to stop. "What do you want?!?!?"
Pitch only smirked. He grabbed her chains, pulling off her feet and only inches near his face. She gasped in fear. "I've already told you, haven't I?" Rapunzel forced herself to nod, but Pitch didn't take this as an answer; he punched hard in the stomach. Rapunzel yelped out in pain. "I'll ask you again. Haven't I already told you what I wanted?" Rapunzel remained silent. Pitch, agitated of this girl, grabbed her throat, lifting off her feet.
"No...please...anything but this...please Pitch!" Rapunzel cried. Pitch only tightened his grip. "P-Please." He released her. Rapunzel fell to the ground, coughing and gasping for air. "I don't understand! I didn't do anything to you!" Pitch circled around her like a vulture, causing her to whimper in fear.
"Frost boy, Jack is my enemy and he would do anything to protect you. My job is to make you stop believing in him, because one less believer, the better." Rapunzel blinked. She couldn't believe what she was hearing! She stood up (Or at least tried to due to the chains.) "Why are you standing?"
"YOU CAN NEVER MAKE ME STOP BELIEVING IN HIM!" Rapunzel screamed. "NEVER!" Pitch growled and pinned her to the wall. Rapunzel cried out as she struggled in his vice-like grip. "GET OFF ME!" He didn't...he pressed more weight on her and created a Nightmare Sand Arrow and inched it to her chest. "N-NO! PLEASE! NO! ANYTHING BUT THIS! PLEASE!" He didn't answer, instead, he shot it...Rapunzel cried out in pain as he released her and it the ground hard. Pitch tightened the chains around her wrists. Rapunzel held her chest in pain, tears streaming down her face. Pitch backed away.
"Never again..." Pitch said. Then, after one long last look of the broken princess, he disappeared into the shadows. "Sweet Dreams.....Princess.........."

(I hope you like it. Just made it now. I have a few other ideas, but I think I'll just stick with this one. Tell me what you think and if I should continue!)

RAPUNZEL:  What do you want with me?

PITCH:  You have been chosen as the new Guardian of Spring.  I cannot allow that to fully happen.

RAPUNZEL:  What?

PITCH:  Oh, come now, Rapunzel.  Don't tell me you've never heard the stories of the original Big Four, the real Guardians of the Seasons.

RAPUNZEL:  What are you talking about?

PITCH:  You know, girl, a simple "no" would have sufficed.  In any case, you stay right here until your mother comes back.  In regards to make sure that Corona has no heir, and therefore no light, you are our concern.

RAPUNZEL:  Me?  A princess?

PITCH:  No one told you?  Oh, I am awfully sorry.  They had been searching years to find you, but they are giving up hope, one by one.  Eventually, they'll all give up and leave you for dead.  One already has.

RAPUNZEL:  Who?

PITCH:  Your dear old friend, Jack.  He was so helpless in preventing your abduction that he has been in grieving ever since.  He has abandoned you, left you for dead!  He'll never bother finding you again!

RAPUNZEL:  No!  You're lying!

PITCH:  Oh, Punzie, if only I were...

(He disappears into the darkness afterwards, distantly observing Rapunzel falling into despair.)
