About the Species:
Ryuni(plural:Ryuni)
(Ree-oo-knee)
Element: Fire
A dragon-shaped spirit creature. Inquisitive and intelligent. Coated in hard, impenetrable scales.
Fire-breather. Fairly sociable. Observes the world through four keen eyes.
Get along well with other species. Incapable of flight. but can leap long distances.
Can levitate, but not for very long. Hears through it's antlers, but expresses emotion with its ears.
Out of Story Information:
- Ryuni are based off of Eastern style dragons.
-Eastern dragons, unlike their western brethren, are known for being wise, benign creatures, even gods, as opposed to princess-snatching-fire-breathing monsters.
- That bit about the horns isn't nonsense- it's nonsense with a four-thousand year history. Apparently, those ears do nothing, and they're deaf until their antlers grow in. (Bizarre Alien Biology at its finest. That's a trope.)
- Second spirit creature that breathes fire, the first being hunni-bun.
