Prism Weaver:
A vividly colored arachnid.
Around the size of a cat, the prism weaver, like many spiders, catches prey in its web, such as birds and rodents.
It moves easily around the ground.
Because of its docile nature and pest control capabilities, many muses keep them as pets.
Petal Snake:
Not actually related to the Greater Petal Snake, this amphibian lives in the undergrowth.
It feeds on plantlife, such as flower petals and stems.
It inches sluggishly across the forest floor.
A lotus-like growth on its back provides camouflage.
Not poisonous, but is nonetheless considered inedible.
Roughly rabbit size.
Can be kept as a pet, but doesn't do much.
Greater Petal Snake:
Not actually related to the Lesser Petal Snake, this reptile dwells in the undergrowth.
It easily forces its way through the brambles and thickets growing on the forest floor.
Mature specimens feature a large, brilliantly colored, lotus-like growth on their backs.
Though usually a docile herbivore, the Greater Petal Snake can be a formidable beast when roused, being as tall as a man.
It lives in the wild, where it feeds on plant life, particularly flowering plants- often creating scraps for the Lesser Petal Snake to feed on in the process.
