Description
This costume was quite the journey for me. I made this in 3 days and I don't think I have ever fought so much with fabrics as I did with this costume. Although everything is white..... I had all sorts of shades going on, so it was challenging to figure out how to make everything work. The headpiece was made out of a ladies hat that I cut out the brim to use as a base. Then I made the skeleton of the wing out of wire and foam. Covered everything in white cotton fabric and then made the feathers out of foamies. The pearls were from a floral arrangement bunch that I cut and pasted individually. (she looked like she had bubbles floating around her.... so I used the pearls to give that illusion)
I used stretch vinyl for the top and organza and poly-blend for the skirt. I used white leggings for modesty and comfort and I added pearls and iridescent jewels for extra bling and detail .

There is hardly any reference of Siren, which made it even more challenging. I worked with only the trailer and the 5 seconds of footage for reference. (Pause, Print Screen FTW!!!!)
SO ... a big part of the costume was designed by me. I just tried to make what I thought she would be wearing.
