I like digital art, it has its perks, but even after 10 years of using both I can truly say nothing will come close to the love I have for traditional. But that's just my preference and you may find you really love digital! I would highly suggest giving it a try! You can usually get monoprice tablets somewhat cheap and I use a program called Sai that allows a 30 day free trial and is WAY cheaper than photoshop if you end up wanting to buy it. ^^

I will thank you so much for all the helpful advice! I found a really cheap used tablet online that should be here in a few days! I also downloaded Krita free art app? Do you by any chance know anything about it?? (I plan on getting the SAI free trial after the tablet arrives!! <3 )Β

Ah, no sorry I've never actually heard of it before? LOL I've heard of Gimp which I've never tried but hear its decent for a free art app. I've only used Sai and Photoshop. ^^
