...wow, this turned out SO TERRIBLE!!!...JUST KIDDING!
I totally love how this one turned out! They don't look like the people from the original picture, but I'm still happy about how it turned out. I tried to draw this one last december, but everything on the woman's face was so off, I gave up on it, and waited to restart it. Her mouth looks a little off in this one, but oh well, it's a lot better than my last attempt. I'm kinda thinking of working on her hands some more, but overall, I think it's done. yeah well, I tried to fix up some things such as the woman's left eye and her mouth. I don't know if I fixed it or not, but everytime I scanned it I found something wrong. I hope it looks somewhat better at least. *update again*
Uhhh, it sure didn't come out very clear, I'll try to see if I can get it to come up better.

great drawing. I like his ear a lot. Her eyes are very symmetrical too. Something you might want to practice is contrast. You mentioned her mouth, take a kneaded eraser and tap it a bit on the fullest parts of her lower lip. It works wonders. Try more contrast. I love the emotion in her eyes and the content peaceful look on his. <><
PS- Don't use my gallery as reference. It's all old stuff. I'm working on something new, with a lot of contrast.

I'll be sure to work more with contrast. I have a bad habit of still being weak on the shading (even after all the years after I finished this drawing). I really should try to draw those pictures where the shading is really dark.

yea, I used to have almost no shading, then some shading, then so much shading that my whole picture was grey. My friend told me, more blacks, more whites, less grey. I tried it and showed some other people and they were like WHOA! so I knew I was on the right track. <><

Her hands a bit off--the thumb is way too long, but the shading and highlights on the rest of the picture are great. There's a nice...emotion in their eyes. Thanks for sharing.

I can believe that I'll always be my harshest critic, but I'm going to try to quit being so harsh when commenting on my drawings. This actually is one of my favorite drawings to be honest.

Nice. Just nice. It looks great. The only critism (if you could call it that) is that there is a bit of white space that could stand to be used up. But really, I think its good the way it is.
