It reminded me of ink... and, somehow, of koi.Closely related to Larissa, actually. Also pretty closely related to Trade Wind Dawn.

When i look at "Inkkoi", i instanty see ink gentle ink blots as the title suggests. I always loved that fluid effect that this "barely - to - believe - is - a - fractal".
My favorite part of the fractal is the dark-blue areas that looks like drops of ink that gently has been sprayed with water to create a beautiful flow arround invivible obstacles, like a flow of energy that is caught in a glass cage.
The colouring is also superb. I love the hints of red and green there is in the fractal, to break up the monotone colours a little and to create a greater dynamic in the fractal.
Another aspect of this fractal i absolutely adore is the use of negate space. The white "voids" makes the inkyness even clearer, almost turning this fractal into an unreadable poem written for someone important.
But no matter how much i like this fractal, there are a couple of things that i think could have been done better... For example, the purple blob-ish parts that are a little too soft and blurry to really matter. It feels like they are just there to fill in the voids... They don't have any unique definition like the dark blue inkdots and smears. If they had some kind of crisper texture, or more definition, they would have done sooo much better...
But anyhows, this is a top-notch fractal directly from one of the best sources there is on dA!

It looks like ink, yes. Like it's on paper and the paper has been wet.
