Devon isn't easily a kind of guy who you smile at and expect for him to smile back.
He's pretty cold and distant to basically everyone giving off a 'fuck off' atmosphere, and can be quite rude and apathetic when he's bothered. Often, he tends to attract people with his appeal but only scare people off with his blunt unapproachableness. He's very sarcastic whether it's family or friends or a stranger. Doesn't hold back on his opinions, whether it hurts your feelings or not (depends who you are). He's pretty still faced all the time, but if he does make an expression it's usually a glare. Devon is hard to anger, but easy to annoy. He's hardly ever seen smiling either. He's not impossible to befriend but it's very difficult to make him open up. As a ruler of his own high class organization, he is actually extremely intelligent and knowledgeable and always knows when to make a move and what moves to make. Killing people isn't always an option but he only does it when he thinks it's necessary. He prefers feeding blood off fresh from a neck or wrist, but will resort to blood bags and bottles if he has to. Most of the time it's from someone, due to his hypnosis ability. If someone screws with him, he always makes sure that they regret it with all their being. And when he makes threats, he has all the intention to carry it out.
Despite his icy and hard shell demeanor, there is a soft side to him deep deep down. Devon is actually a very extremely emotional person, and when is emotionally influenced, he feels it deeper than anyone would because of the magnified heart he has. He's incredibly sweet and caring and would do anything for anyone he loves. He's madly in love and obsessed with Phoenix, and would die for her in an instant. When it comes to romance, he has a different but loyal heart and can't develop feelings for anyone else once he's already fallen.
He's actually very insecure about himself due to all the multiple scars slashed across his body and face, which is why he doesn't like it when people stare at him. He denies it, but he can't stand being all alone for so long. He acts like he doesn't want to asociate with anyone, which he doesn't, but it's only because he's scared to feel.
