It's done, though not as finished as I'd have liked due to the deadline but it's going to be shown on our University's film day (basically a cinema setup with the best of our student animations being shown to about 500 people). I'll probably refine it over summer and throw it at festivals.

I noticed it was a complex project when it was in boards, but wasn't how certain about the time it takes you to work up layouts and animation.
The story is the first thing you have done with a bit more time and structure, so if you are feeling good about the basic layouts, the colors, and what it can become you should definitely refine the animation and polish it up. You never know where it can lead if seen by the right people.
And even if you just do it for fun, I think it's a great thing to have as a personal accomplishment. The story has a very palpable, mainstream structure that uses items not seen in the mainstream. It's a key to entertainment if done right.

Yeah, all us animation guys are having to produce stuff at 720p now as it's the new standard. This means massive amounts of rendering time for the 3D guys, luckily I can just upscale my characters in Flash because they're just vectors.
