Dude. It's been years, but this is still one of my favorite Prime pics on DA. Should have told ya much sooner. Yes, Joe's lines are epic. But your colors really sell this. Simple, clean, effective. The bits of texture are what really makes the whole thing work, I think -- adds just that touch of "reality" to the whole thing.

thanks! I like to add some textures to mi colorings, so they look more 3d like, its not hard, you only need the chalk brushand play with the opacity a bitm then duplicate and invert it, and voila!!

There are at least two videos on YouTube that pay tribute to G1 Optimus using the song "Hero" from the Spider-Man film. This picture reminds me of the song, which now in turn reminds me of Prime. Excellent work! Maybe you can do a Megatron pic that could go side-by-side with this one.

yeah, the problem was that the lineart was very blury because of the low resolution, so the only way to fix that was to ink it again, and I did that using the photoshop pen tool, line by line I draw a vectoriual line, then curved it(when necessary) and stroke the path (rasterize) the vector to turn it into pixels.........yeah, quite stressing. but the results are worth it, I thinks.
