Birthday: September 21st
Nationality: ???? (she was adopted by Shidou from a private owner in Kyushu, Japan)
Kuroko is a Tsushima Leopard Cat (Prionailurus bengalensis euptilurus) Chimera and Yukari's younger sister. She was created by Reiichi Shidou, Hakase's father's business rival to be sold as an assassin to one of the Zaibatsu that works with Shidou. Kuroko has a cute and friendly personality, but she was tortured and abused by Shidou after her creation so she can be trained into a cold-blooded killer. Yukari escaped from Shidou's facility as a result, only to be adopted by Hakase. After weeks of torture and pain, Kuroko becomes her dark persona, Kuroneko (lit. Black Cat). She has an ability to control ice thanks to a special gene installed by Shidou. After the events of Scorched Earth, Kuroko is reunited with her sister again, and regained her old personality again. She lives in the Deciduous area, and often ends her sentence with her catchphrase, plop. For some reason, she wears the same uniform as Nanachi
Voice actor: Kaori Nazuka
Known roles: Tooru Hagakure from Boku no Hero Academia, Lynette Bishop from Strike Witches, Yui Kotegawa from To Love-Ru, Zonda from Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, Fumio Murakami from Girlfriend Beta, Miyu Edelfelt from Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya and Nunnally Lamperouge from Code Geass
Trivia: Kuroko was inspired by Olli, another character from Super Cat Tales 2. The fandom of Super Cat Tales 2 often associates Olli with the word plop, which gave Kuroko her catchphrase. Her ice powers and Kuroneko persona is inspired by Fairy Leviathan from Mega Man Zero series, both being sadistic and loyal to their masters. Whilst common/Javan Leopard Cats are often displayed in Indonesian zoos, Tsushima Leopard Cats are seldomly seen in zoos. A pair of them are kept privately by Hybridd Cattery. Despite their name, Tsushima Leopard Cats can be found in Russia and in the Korean Peninsula as well outside its range in Tsushima Island, Japan
