Leona Morino is a Javan Leopard (Panthera pardus melas) Chimera with a kuudere personality and an athletic appearance. She's one of the strongest Chimeras, and her fighting skill is almost par on Ouka's. She was one of the first Chimeras to be created alongside her brethren, but Leona was the last one to come out from the stasis tube during her creation. Leona is pretty quick and strong, and able to swim and climb trees. She values her fellow Chimeras as friends, but she has a strong rivalry with the Steel Fangs clique. During a fight, she managed to scratch Nanachi's cheek with her claws. At one time she fought Ouka as well, although ended up in a tie. Despite her blunt attitude, Leona is quite friendly sometimes. She really loves to read books on Hakase's mini library, and enjoying picnics with her friend Hinata the Sun Bear Chimera

Javan Leopards can be commonly seen in Indonesian zoos, especially Taman Safari, Batu Secret Zoo and Faunaland. Sometimes, you might find melanistic Javan Leopards as well known as Black Panthers, although rarer than its commoner variant
