Description The map and layout of SeaWorld Ancol and its exhibits and areas
Not pretty big as the aquariums out there like SEA Aquarium and Hong Kong Ocean Park
This map is pretty simple and shows the five exhibit areas of SeaWorld Ancol

Public areas:
Ticketing (発券業務)
The place where you buy tickets. IDR 100.000 for SeaWorld Ancol entrance and IDR 180.000 for both SeaWorld Ancol and Ocean Dream Samudra entrance
Plaza (プラザ)
Nothing but an area to walk around. My friend Mr. Aip Rachman Azis sits at the information desk, giving informations to visitors
Gift shop (ギフトショップ)
You can buy memorabilia of SeaWorld Ancol here such as shark plushies, T-shirts and seashell frames. The shelves are mostly empty, since it's still soft opening
Theater (劇場)
The theater has been refunctioned as a multipurpose room for birthday parties, conferences and events. Used to play movies about marine life here
Function Room (宴会場)
Not really a function room, but rather a museum. Displays marine life preserved either in formaldehyde à la Damien Hirst or dried such as dead inhabitants of SeaWorld Ancol, deep-sea fishes, an Indonesian Coelacanth and three species of sharks: Bull, Sand Tiger and Tawny Nurse. There's also a fish spa where you can dip your feet into a pond of Garra rufa. The Koi Pond exhibit is currently closed due to minor problems

Dugong (ジュゴン)
Displays a female dugong named Diana from Kendari, Southeast Celebes. She was saved by SeaWorld Ancol team back in 1999 from being tangled in a fisherman's gillnet. There used to be a male dugong named Doel, but Doel has been released into the wild because the tank has overloaded
Wetland (湿地帯)
Displays wetland life, and separated into three exhibits. The first exhibit is Turtle Swamp. There's nothing there but a school of silver dollars and a red-eared slider, as most of the other turtles has been taken by the members of SeaWorld Indonesia during the breakup. The second exhibit is Mangrove Swamp. There's only a school of schoolmaster snappers used for water testing, as it's going to be used to house more estuary fishes such as barramundis, mudskippers, red stingrays, archerfish and mud crabs. The third exhibit is Otter Swamp. There are two Asian small-clawed otters there. They frolic and swim around, especially during feeding time
Moray Eel (ウツボ)
Displays six kinds of moray eels: giant moray, laced moray, yellow-edged moray, indian mud moray, fimbriated moray and honeycomb moray and three kinds of fishes: tripletail, minstrel sweetlips and orange-spotted spinefoots. This aquarium used to house coral reef life, until the closure of SeaWorld Indonesia killed most of the coral, and the fishes were sold to to other aquaria such as Trans Studio Bandung, Batu Secret Zoo and Kura-Kura Ocean Park
Coral Reef Fish (サンゴ礁の魚)
Displays assorted large coral reef fishes such as red squirrelfish, batfish, humphead wrasses, yellowfin surgeonfish, bignose surgeonfish, minstrel sweetlips, gibbus parrotfish, orange spotted grouper and oriental sweetlips. The fishes here are fed with lettuce, which usually tied to the bottom of the tank. Has a mural of Dory and Nemo on the side
Garden Eel (チンアナゴ)
Displays only a pair of spotted garden eels, as the rest died during the closure. As a filler, common seahorses and alligator pipefishes has been put into the tank. The tank is actually a tube located in the front of the lobster exhibit. The one pointed here actually houses three horseshoe crabs. Used to display eight chambered nautlius from Japan, but they died during the closure as well

Displays creatures that would likely to kill you in the sea than being attacked by sharks. The ones displayed are volitan and clearfin lionfish, stonefish, long-spined sea urchins and crown-of-thorns starfishes
European Lobster (ヨーロピアン・ロブスター)
Displays four European lobster bought from Bandar Djakarta, imported from Mediterranean Sea. These lobsters replace the original Japanese spider crabs, which died during the closure and preserved in formaldehyde
Triggerfish (モンガラカワハギ)

Displays only one olive flounder, which also known as bastard halibut. This fish hails from the waters of Jeju Island, South Korea and rescued from sliced and diced into saengseon hoe and served with gochujang and ssamjang at Bandar Djakarta. A lazy one, lazier than the former inhabitant, the pineconefish. Sadly, this beautiful fish died during the closure
Puffer Fish (フグ)
Currently unavailable. This aquarium is currently optimalized as the puffer fishes are not arrived yet. Used to house a giant Pacific octopus named Gudel, who died during the closure and preserved in formaldehyde. The puffer fishes that will be displayed are tiger blowfish, star puffers and porcupinefish
Coral Reef (サンゴ礁)
Displays assorted small coral reef fishes, real coral reefs and anemones. But currently, only displays a handful of Percula clownfish and some damselfish
Sharkquarium (サメの水族館)
Displays six scalloped hammerhead sharks coming from Hualien, Taiwan. They were caught as bycatch on a tuna fishing fleet. Luckily, the fleet owner sold them to a nursery and put them on a holding tank, looking for someone to house them. SeaWorld Ancol buys them and ships them to their aquaria. This aquarium used to house blacktip reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks, bull sharks, grey reef sharks and tawny nurse sharks. The bull shark and the grey reef sharks died a few years ago due to old age and disease, while the rest are moved to main tank after the hammerhead sharks arrived
Aquascape (ネイチャーアクアリウム)
Displays four styles of aquascapes: Tanah Lot, Iwagumi, Waterfall and Amazon. Small freshwater fishes are housed there as well
Starfish Touch Pool (ヒトデタッチプール)
This pool is where you can touch bat sea stars and chocolate chip sea stars. Sadly, the filter gone bazonkers and the water is now icky. I'm very disgusted when I look at the water quality, not even daring to touch them
Sea Turtle Touch Pool (ウミガメタッチプール)
This pool is where you can touch and cuddle hawksbill sea turtles. Green sea turtles were used to be here, until they were moved to the main tank as they grow pretty fast. Small seargent major damsels are added here to make the touch pool more alive. Do not lift them out from the water or wiggle your fingers in the front of their beaks. Some of them will mistake your fingers as octopus tentacle and bite off your finger
Bamboo Shark Touch Pool (イヌザメタッチプール)
This pool is where you can touch grey bamboo sharks and blue dot stingrays. It is advised to not to pull their tails, as they can thrash around the water and bite your hands
Shark Touch Pool (サメタッチプール)
This pool is where you can rub baby blacktip reef sharks. A cownose ray was used to be here, but due to diseases, it is now moved to the quarantine. Do not pull the shark's dorsal fin or tail, as they need to keep swimming or else they'll drown. It is advised only to rub their backs. Touching their snouts are also not allowed, as they can bite off your fingers
Main Tank (主水槽)
The main aquarium of SeaWorld Ancol. Houses various marine life from Indonesian waters such as giant groupers, spotted eagle rays, longheaded eagle rays, dragon stingrays, honeycomb whiprays, cowtail stingrays, whitespotted wedgefish, yellowfin surgeonfish, mangrove snappers, crevalle jacks, giant moray eels, zebra sharks, yellowtail fusiliers, green sea turtles, olive ridley sea turtles, snubnose pompanos, giant trevallies, longtooth groupers, live sharksuckers, blacktip reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks, tawny nurse sharks, cobias, giant sea catfish and humphead wrasses. This aquarium represents the diversity marine life of Indonesia. The ones that are no longer on display include sand tiger sharks, pickhandle barracudas, rainbow runners, giant shovelnose rays, giant freshwater whipray, bowmouth guitarfish and greater amberjacks. Most of them died of natural causes, eaten by tank mates or diseases. But, the sand tiger sharks will return again this year
Car Aquarium (車水族館)
An old car and a telephone booth ultilized into aquariums and displays goldfishes and tiger barbs. This aquarium is used to promote recycling
