Aaaaah give me chance! haha The only game I had played at the time of that piece was the remake. I probably didn't know who Vendra was yet. ((I made up for it though, I have a couple of Vendra drawings in my gallery))
The drawing started off as just Elaris, but it evolved into what you see now. I looked up other female characters, and that's basically how I was first introduced to them.
