I finally got a chance to get out and take a few pictures yesterday. This is actually very close to where I took this shot:

It's all a connected sort of pathway area with a water garden at the end, very odd but it's really pretty.

Anyway I had been at this path before but wanted to come back and try a few more shots, especially since the leaves are just beginning to change here. This was the first time I had walked this far on the path and I'm so glad I did, this place was almost mystical. It was just passed sunset when I took these shots and it was already quite dark. Lucky for me though the wind was at a minimum.

After I had taken a few shots I heard some rustling at the end of the pathway that you see. I thought it might be some kids but it sounded pretty loud. As my adrenaline started to pump a bit, it popped out trees, a deer. It froze and I stood up. Well that apparently freaked her out because she spazzed out, jumped back in the trees and all I heard was a bunch of rustling around. I was thinking, "oh great, she's going to come kill me". She then popped across the path again and into the other side. It was pretty funny, a bit of excitement for an otherwise calm evening

Just a side note, yes those red leaves were really that color. To be honest I'm not sure where they all came from, but the wind must have blown them around to this path.
