Description
A couple of years ago a friend introduced me to a fantasy book called 'Magician' by Raymond E. Feist. I've read a lot of fantasy in my time, but this book and the ones that follow it hold a particular magic that most other books are without.

Fantus is from these books; A firedrake who lives with the Magician Kulgan, but is not owned by him. I drew him based off the first description of Fantus in the book, except I made the nose more pointy (like a crocodile) and less like that of an alligator. Some other stuff were left to the imagination, like the wings and how they folded and the scales.

I touched up the completed drawing in pspX for display.
