I think you're thinking enemy blast damage. The game knows if you're sticky jumping (friendly blast) or you're being shot with evil blu crockets. So it only absorbs the enemy damage.
Once i got ubered by a medic and detonated the 4 stickies (1 of them crit) that i had under my feet. All normal loadout. I FLEW AWAY. and the medic got raped by a thousand guys and spent the rest of the round whining. WHYYY YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO KILL PEOPLE NOT DO AN OLYMPIC JUMP YOU BIG FAT JERKBAG!

Dang it. Well I wouldn't know. I'm a specialised medic so hey. I do play soldier on occasion for the buff banner support, I play pyro to put people's fires out and I play engineer for area denial. I just love support.
Poor medic, But I can't feel sorry for him because he called you names. That's not being a true competitor.
The Targin' Chargin' Targin' Demomen seem alright enough though. Handy little speedboost.

I live off the support. People think medics don't get into the action. I'm always in the thick of it at all times.
The Airblast is my favourite thing about the pyro. Every High-damage output projectile becomes null in good timing. I don't play pyro often though.
I sometimes go sniper for a laugh and throw jarates onto enemies our heavies are firing upon. Plus Jarate puts out fire as well.

about 150 hours as medic, 50 hours as soldier and 50 hours as engineer really sets me up for support. I've been playing soldier more just for the banner.
What is your stance on the equalizer? I believe once a soldier aquires it, he'll never need his old shovel again.

Until they realize the pickaxe blocks healing.

That's not the worst of it. When they switch out to the equalizer mid-ubercharge when they need to reload both their shotgun and rocket launcher, then leave me on my own. Helpless.

Ubered medics are weird see, since i discovered you cant uber yourself and change weapon. I've seen the "double medic strategy" They're always ubered because one of them is ubering the other as he charges an uber of his own with the Ubersaw, and then the process repeats. They're unstoppable. then some demo shows up and sends one of them to the BLU respawn and the other one to the RED Respawn.

There's an achievement for that. Assist a fellow medic in five kills in one ubercharge.
Have you seen the ubersaw taunt? If you activate your ubercharge and do the switch weapons glitch, you can do the kill taunt while ubered.

As a Medic, I feel little to either side. ._. but in the case of this war, my order of assistance has changed to: Demo, Heavy, other Medics, every one else
