And lo his search grew long and hope waned to ever find pictures showing a wizards as the badasses they actually are. Β But he searched on and on through innumerable crap long on ridiculous and silly concepts though short on badassery, but occasionally his faith was rewarded with awesome images such as the one you are now viewing,

The monsters in your action scene remind me of the single Mu'uushi encounter in my 1982 magnum opus TEMPLE OF THE SHADOWLOCK (TotS; the 30th Anniversary Edition of that never got finished and it never got published--it did get played ten times or more though). Β I'm inspired for a re-vamp (35th Anniversary Edition); there's obviously a market out there for the Grandest High Adventure (the characters in "your scene" transposed to TotS would be Niav [Fighter/Magic-User/Assassin] and Resitra [Wudan Jidai Monk/Cleric of The Marichi Visnu]).

Thank-you for resurrecting my memories and I'll get a little bit to you in the near-future when we've swapped contact details.

aces high! Β i like this scene (some adventure!).

i'm working on three RPG projects currently (LIONHEART 30th Anniversary Edition and when that's done will contact EON as it could be the next Big Thing, as well as two solo hard-core sex & violence D&D actioners for INANA and ERESHKIGAL (they might conceivably meet in the middle of the vast Irkalla Dungeon Dimension and have to pool resources: working title for them is SISTERHOOD).Β

Likewise! would be great to see it on the shelf. I don't know if you've ever had that happen but last year I got a cover gig and it's very surreal to see it as a real thing As for the print copy I guess it depends on the company, but it's a general deal I think that the company gives the artist an example of the finished work.

I recall! i think actually saw it in a bookstore here in town! ( Congrats again, btw!) i hope you are right, I'd love to have my mitts on that

heh thanks Yah fingers crossed for ya. It's a great cover and seeing it 'in the flesh' would be most cool. If it does go to print, don't be afraid to ask for a copy or two either. The company I worked with was really cool and generous. Gave me a couple finished books, plus some uncut covers. I have one framed for my wall

Very cool. What more can you tell us about this module?

faustie In reply to TheCountAlucard [2013-06-27 14:49:41 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! Sadly I don't know much beyond the basics- it's for a D&D module by my client, Venger, and the theme of the mod is sort of an underdark/cthulu cult society that CLEARLY knows how to have a good time. The mod will include illustrations by several other artists inside, it comes with maps, new loot, works with existing D$D rule-sets, tho i'm not sure which version exactly. I've asked to be kept in the loop so i can properly advertise it when it gets closer to completion tho!

Cool. Cool, cool. Yeah, let us know about that module; if it's got your stuff, I'd be happy to give it a look-see.
