Time for some TLC, Ireerah style!
#113 - Motheren (Mother + Hen; also sounds like 'Mothering') - The Mothering Fakémon. Normal Type. Abilities: Natural Cure//Healer//HA: Fluffy Down*
-Dex Entry 1: Overbearing and sometimes stubborn, this Fakémon is highly skilled at medicine. It is capable of healing others with herbs and ingredients that seem unconventional to modern medicine.
-Dex Entry 2: Although it is excellent at healing others, it can be highly stubborn. When placed in the company of Chansey or Blissey, they will spend so long bickering that they forget to tend to their patients!
>>Based on: Mother Hens; Old ladies wearing headscarves (bit.ly/2CiqFVs ); Old wive's medicine; The headscarf is meant to resemble a rooster's crest tied down. As you can see, it is clearly an homage to Blissey's line.
*Fluffy Down: When an opponent makes contact with this Fakémon, it releases a cloud of fluffy down lowering the opponent Fakémon's attack.

Ahhh I’m so glad you picked up on the ‘V’ smile - was afraid that might be too subtle. Tbh The things all over the body are sort of like hens’ mottled colours, but I thought maybe they could be like Chansey’s eggs - something it’s body produces that can heal others. Maybe they’re little eggs, or just little medicinal snacks it makes and stores in its feathers - I didn’t think that one through too much - just liked how they looked haha
