Well all fossil Pokemon are part rock type - I imagine it overtakes one of their other naturally occurring types - e.g. I imagine Aerodactyl would have been dragon-flying initially, or Cradily would have been grass/water. With this line I’d imagine Protodent would have initially been dragon or normal type, and it’s evo would have been normal or dragon and dark type.

such a cool evolution! it's unique, it's weird, it's cool. I love the look, the colors, the whole design is great!

Yaaaay! I wanted to keep the colours somewhat official so I used Aerodactyl and its shiny’s palette for it, and tried to give it a gen 1 ‘look’ and level of monstrosity

Aw yeah. Tbh I find the line where mammals and reptiles break apart really confusing in real life, so a lizardy rat is a manifestation of this haha
