Description
I've been meaning to draw Gobo for a while too. I really wanted to make his design different than other Gobo designs, so tried to make him stand out. As his design goes, he's similar looking to his twin sister Faline, but with darker, warmer fur. I thought it would be cute to add freckles to his designs too.

As a fawn, Gobo was sickly and was never brought to the meadow in case he couldn't run fast enough from Man. Although rather shy, he was also polite. He only played with other fawns if it was within the forest. Growing up, he didn't have many friends except for his sister Faline, Bambi, Thumper, Flower, and a fawn named Marena. Bambi didn't meet Gobo the same day he met Faline. He met him later. One day, Ena thought Gobo was well enough to go to the meadow, but Man happened to appear there that day and Gobo was too weak to run with his mother and sister. Everyone just accepted his death, they even held a funeral for him.

Once everyone grew up, they were surprised to find out that Gobo actually survived. He had been taken in by man who raised him well, causing him to think that Man was good. This interaction with Man made Gobo act like he was a demigod of sorts. He later meets up with Marena, his childhood friend, who also believes that Man is good and that he and the animals can get along. They become mates. When Man's hunting party comes back to the forest, every animal hides except him and Marena, Gobo, thinking that man loves him goes towards him and is shot, later dying in at Marena's hooves. Faline does not find out about her brother's death until after the forest fire.

His backstory is based on what happened in the book, mostly, but added some elements of the disney version.
